Whats Black and white and READ all over !!!
You really want to get in on this challenge, it's a ton of fun, and definitely something you want to READ all about. For this weeks challenge we'd like you to use newsprint on your layout...this can be actual newspaper, newsprint font in your journaling or title, or maybe your layout could be in the format of a newspaper. So grab your daily news and get scrappy!
SO, here is my take on the challenge.
My layout is based on a fab sketch
provided by Marit.
And word of the week: JOURNEY

Scrapping Out Loud blog challenge

So DIstressed Out! challenge
Distressing is so hot right now in the scrapbooking world, and it's so much more fun than stressing! So how about using some distressing on this weeks LO! That's right, we'd like to see your LO with some distressing somewhere, could be a lot could be a little!
My layout is based on a sketch they provided.

Mix It Up Blog - Mixer #25

Mixer #25 was a color challenge -
You had to create a monochromatic layout
with the color white!
At first I thought this was going to be
very tough but as I started looking
through my stuff I was finding the
perfect goodies to use. I am VERY pleased with
this LO. I love it. I may even frame it
and hang it up. lol
The picture does not show it really well
but there is journaling on the strips.
It is very overcast and dreary here today so it
is hard to get a good picture. It looks so
much better IRL. ( You can click on the
picture for a close up)
My layout is based on a sketch they provided as well.

Scrapping Out Loud blog challenge

Put you in a cast challenge.
For this challenge you had to do
paper casting. A very cool technique
and my first time trying.
Fabulous instructions here.
My butterfly is a paper cast!
I'm not 100% happy with it but
I plan to try it again. :)
My layout is also based on a sketch provided.

Birthday card

A birthday card for my grandmother,
who is turing 90 tomorrow. :)
I decided to give the Tri-fold card a try.
I'm not really happy with it but it's done.
Took me most of the day to make it. LOL
